CTET Result 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the result of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the August 2023 exam on September 25, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their scores and qualifying status on the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in. The CTET is a national-level exam that assesses the eligibility of candidates for teaching in classes 1 to 8. The exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 for teaching classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for teaching classes 6 to 8.
Highlights of CTET Result 2023:
• The CTET August 2023 exam was conducted on August 20, 2023, at 3,121 centres in 136 cities across the country.
• A total of 29,03,886 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 23,79,882 appeared and 3,99,815 qualified.
• The overall pass percentage of the exam was 16.8%, with Paper 1 having a pass percentage of 24.6% and Paper 2 having a pass percentage of 8.7%.
• The marksheet and certificate of the qualified candidates will be uploaded on DigiLocker shortly and can be downloaded by using their mobile number provided in the online application form.
• The CTET certificate has lifetime validity and can be used for applying for teaching jobs in both government and private schools across India.

How to check CTET Result 2023
Candidates can follow these steps to check their CTET result 2023 online:
- Visit the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the link that says “CTET Result” or “CTET Score Card” on the homepage.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth and click on “Submit”.
- Your CTET result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of your result for future reference.

About CTET
The CTET is conducted by the CBSE twice a year, usually in July and December, to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching in classes 1 to 8. The exam is based on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and covers topics such as child development and pedagogy, language, mathematics, environmental studies, social studies, and science.
The exam has two papers: Paper 1 for teaching classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for teaching classes 6 to 8. Candidates can choose to appear for one or both papers as per their preference. The exam is conducted in offline mode and has multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each paper has 150 questions carrying one mark each. There is no negative marking in the exam.
The duration of each paper is two-and-a-half hours. To qualify the exam, candidates need to score at least 60% marks in each paper. However, some states or union territories may have different qualifying marks as per their norms. The CTET certificate is valid for lifetime and can be used for applying for teaching jobs in both government and private schools across India. Candidates who have qualified the CTET can also appear for the exam again to improve their score.
